PEAS AND CARROTS

HONEY-BUTTER PEAS AND CARROTS

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Pound carrots, sliced.
  • 1 large onion, chopped.
  • ¼ cup of water.
  • ¼ cup of honey.
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced.
  • 1 teaspoon of salt.
  • 1 teaspoon of dried marjoram.
  • 1/8 teaspoon of white pepper.
  • 1 package (16 ounces) of frozen peas.

Directions

  1. In a -3qt. slow cooker, combine the first 9 ingredients.
  2. Cook, covered, on low 5 hours.
  3. Stir peas. Cook, covered, on high 25-15 minutes longer or until vegetables are tender.
