MIXED VEGETABLES (7-WAY) RECIPE

GROUND BEEF SHEPHERD’S PIE

INGREDIENTS

  • 1- ½ pounds of ground beef.
  • 1 small, chopped onion.
  • 2 minced garlic cloves.
  • 1 can (10 ounces) of beef gravy.
  • 1 cup of frozen mixed vegetables.
  • ¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • ½ - 2 cups of mashed potatoes.
  • Paprika (optional).

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 180 C. In a large skillet.
  2. Cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink, breaking meat into crumbles.
  3. Add garlic, cook 1 minute longer.
  4. Drain, Stir in gravy, vegetables, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer to a greased 1 – 1 ½ baking dish.
  6. Spread potatoes over the top.
  7. Bake, uncovered, until heated through, 30 minutes.
